NCDEX records trade worth Rs 4,433 cr

Mumbai, Apr 17 (UNI) As many as 579 members of the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchanges (NCDEX) participated in trading worth Rs 4,433 crore (one way) upto 1700 hrs today.

There were 1,04,120 trades put through by them.

Active trades were high in guarseeds, chana, silver, lemon tur, wheat and urad, a NCDEX release said.

On Saturday, about 558 members had participated in trading and put through more than 67,370 trades. The volume for the whole day trading till 1400 hrs was Rs 2,921 crore (one way).

Active trades were in urad, chana, guarseed, silver, gold and refined soy oil, the release added.
