Indian squad for West Indies to be selected on April 20

Mumbai, Apr 17 (UNI) The Indian team to tour West Indies for five one-day internationals and four tests beginning in May will be selected here on April 20.

Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) sources said here today that the national selection committee would meet under the chairmanship of Kiran More on April 20 after the Indian team returns from Abu Dhabi, where it is playing Pakistan in a two match ODI series.

The Indian squad would leave for the West Indies on May 12 and would return on July 4.

India would start the tour with the five one-day international series followed by the test matches. The first ODI is scheduled to be played on May 18.

According to the itinerary, the first two ODIs would be played in Jamaica, the third in St Kitts and the last two at Port of Spain, Trinidad.

The four Tests beginning on June 1 would be played at Antigua, St Lucia, St Kitts and Jamaica.
