HC quashes petition in labour union leader murder case

Allahabad, Apr 17 (UNI) The Allahabad High Court today disimissed a writ petition of Managing Director of Triveni Glass Factory in Allahabad, seeking quashing of the FIR against him in connection with the murder of a labour leader of the unit.

A division bench comprising Justices R C Deepak and R N Mishra dimissed the petition of J K Agrawal seeking quashing of the FIR in the murder of Amrendra Kumar Pandey.

The uncle of the deceased labour leader, in the FIR at Ghoorpur had alleged that his nephew Amrendra was shot dead on March 24, 2006 at the behest of Agrawal.
