Bhopal, Apr 17: Khandwa Police has claimed to have achieved a major breakthrough with the arrest of five activists, including two women, allegedly owing allegiance to banned organisation Student Islamic Movement of India (SIMI).

During interrogation, it was revealed that the accused were SIMI activists.

Mr Sagar said following interrogation two women activists -- Ashiya and her sister Rafia -- were also arrested. Police seized objectionable literature from them.
