Couple commits suicide after killing children

Ranchi, Apr 17 (UNI) Frustrated with acute financial crisis, a couple strangled to death their three children and later committed suicide by hanging from a ceilig fan at Alkapuri mohalla here, police said today.

When the neighbours found the doors were closed till late this morning, they broke open the door and found Promode Charosia and Madhu hanging and the three children, a girl and two sons, lying on the bed.

Police also suspected that the children were poisoned.

The bodies were sent for postmortems, police added.
