Cong seeks explanation from BJP leaders

New Delhi, Apr 17 (UNI) The Congress today sought an explanation from BJP leaders Atal Bihari Vajpayee,L.K.Advani and Jaswant Singh on whether money had changed hands with terrorists during release of hijacked passengers of Indian Airlines plane under NDA regime.

Congress Spokesman Abhishek Singhvi said Mr Advani should also explain whether what he was speaking the truth now regarding release of terrorists or whether his earlier remark issued by a news agency were true.

Since Mr Advani considered his Rath Yatra as his pilgrimage,he would have no hesitation in telling the truth,Mr Singhvi said talking to media persons here.

He said while Congress President Sonia Gandhi was surging forward like an "aandhi(hurricane)towards victory,BJP President Rajnath Singh's 'defective Rath' was moving at a speed of 40 km per hour having developed many snags.Many of its facilities like engine,toilet and AC were not working. Mr Rajnath Singh's Rath is as defective as the BJP's defective policies,"he said.

Mr Singhvi sympathised with Mr Rajnath Singh that the BJP did not provide to Mr Singh a Rath as strong as that of Mr Advani.
