Builders protest against cement price hike

Gulbarga, Apr 17 (UNI) Builders and construction workers here today took out a procession in protest against the steep hike in the cement price.

Addressing the gathering, Architechs and Engineers Association President S D Nizaguni expressed concern over the constant increase in cement prices and urged the government to regularise the price.

He lamented that construction works in most places had come to a standstill as the price hike affected the estimation cost.

Suspension of work had rendered thousands of workers jobless.
