Bird flu: HC asks govt for details

Jabalpur, Apr 17 (UNI) The Madhya Pradesh High Court today asked the state government to furnish details of the method being adopted to ensure that poultry products entering the state were disease-free.

While hearing a public interest petition -- in the avian influenza context -- by Dr Y C Chau, Chief Justice Anang Kumar Pattnaik and Justice Ajit Singh directed the government to submit an affidavit by April 26.
