BearingPoint opens Global Devp Center in B'lore

Bangalore, Apr 17: BearingPoint, Inc. (NYSE: BE), one of the world's largest management and technology consulting firms, on Thursday announced the opening of a new Global Development Center (GDC) in Bangalore to further underscore BearingPoint's commitment to serve clients with some of the best resources and talent available worldwide. The software development and application management center is located in the heart of the Embassy Golf Links IT business campus.

This facility provides a cutting-edge platform for expanding our capabilities in the global market."

The approximately 55,000-square foot Bangalore center, currently highly utilized, will allow BearingPoint to offer clients a versatile service facility with a deep resource pool. It replaces a smaller Bangalore facility and joins five other Global Development Centers located in India, China and the United States.

The GDC offers full service abilities in industries including banking, insurance, telcom, retail, oil, manufacturing, hi-tech, life sciences and software product development.
