Ahamed meets Kuwaiti Emir, PM
New Delhi, Apr 17 (UNI) Minister of State for External Affairs E Ahamed today reaffirmed India's commitment towards working with Kuwait for overall progress in and strengthening of bilateral relationship.
The Minister who is currently on an official visit to Kuwait, met the Emir of Kuwait, Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah and Prime Minister Sheikh Nasser Mohammad Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah and gave them Prime Minister Manmohan Singh's invitation to visit India.
The two are expected to visit India in July.
He also met Kuwaiti Foreign Minister Sheikh Mohammad Sabah Al Salem Al Sabah and discussed bilateral relations, a statement issued here by the Minister's office said.
