Written by: Staff

Kozhikode, Apr 17 (UNI) Stating that Kerala was facing stagnation under the UDF/LDF ''mis-rule,'' senior BJP leader and Opposition leader in the Lok Sabha L K Advani today urged electorate to vote for a change by electing his party candidates in the forthcoming assembly poll in the state.

Formally inaugurating election campaign of the BJP here he said both the Congress-led United Democratic Front and CPI (M) led Left Democratic Front were two sides of the same coin and the people of the state had suffered miserably under their mis-rule since formation of the state in 1957.

''We would be able to take the state to the path of development'' by initiating progressive schemes on the lines of steps taken by the six-year NDA regime headed by Atal Bihari Vajpayee at the Centre.

The NDA government was able to contain inflation whereas people were suffering because of skyrocketing prices of essential commodities under the UPA regime, he said.

Party All India secretary Anant Kumar, vice president and incharge of party affairs in Kearla L Ganesan, Kerala unit president P S Sreedharan Pillai were, among those present.
