4 women washed away in AP

Ongole, Andhra Pradesh, Apr 17 (UNI) Four women were washed away in River Paleru, near Janardhanapuram Village of Prakasham District, today.

Police said here the women went to the river to wash clothes this morning when the mishap occurred.

The water level in the river had risen due to heavy downpour last night,they said.

The deseased were identified as Laxmamma (35), Ankamma (35), B Prabha (65) and Kondamma (16).
