14 hurt as buses collide in AP

Eluru, Andhra Pradesh, Apr 17 (UNI) Fourteen persons, including five women, were seriously injured in a head-on collision between two Andhra Pradesh State Road Corporataion (APSRTC) buses near Pulaparru Village of Krishna district this evening.

Police sources here said the Bhimavaram-bound RTC bus collided with another bus bound for Eluru from Narsapuram at Pulaparru Village.

The Eluru-bound bus driver tried to overtake resulting in the mishap.The injured were shifted to Eluru Government Hospital.
