Alert security at Indira Maidan for Advani's meet

Tirupati, Apr 16: Police made elaborate security arrangements at Indira Maidan here for BJP leader L K Advani's public meeting today.

Mr Advani's Yatra which entered the Chittoor district of Andhra Pradesh this morning, would reach the temple town, after passing through Madanapalle, Vayalapad, Piler and Moolakala Cheruvu.

Party sources said after the public meeting, Mr Advani will proceed to 'Tirumala' to offer prayers to Lord Balaji.

After an overnight stay at Tirumala hills, he will take part in the party's election campaign in Kasargode and Calicut in Kerala, before reaching Hyderabad on April 18, the sources added.
