Road communication in interior districts top proirity: Apang

Itanagar, Apr 16 (UNI) Reiterating his government's commitment for development of interior districts, Arunachal Pradesh Chief Minister Gegong Apang has said that improvement of road communication in backward Kurung Kumey district was top priority.

Mr Apang said road constructions have already started in almost all the four constituencies of the district.

The Chief Minister was speaking at the Longte Yullo festival at Parsi Parlo circle in the district yesterday, informed official sources today.

About developmental projects in the district, Mr Apang urged the people to work hard and adopt modern scientific methods in agriculture and horticulture sectors for larger production of food grains.

While assuring to post sufficient teachers in the district, Mr Apang advised the student's community to concentrate in their studies and become responsible citizens. He also called upon the people to cooperate with the government for rapid development of the area.
