Railway inspector kidnapped
Latehar, Apr 16 (UNI) An official of South Eastern Railway was kidnapped from the outer cabin of Tori railway station in this extremist-affected district by unknown abductors.
According to police sources, inspector S D Manjhi could not be traced after he went to inspect a track near outer cabin yesterday.
Mr Manjhi had contacted an assistant engineer on the mobile in the evening and said he had been kidnapped. After this brief intimation the line got disconnected.
A case has been lodged in the Barkakana railway police station and raids were on to trace the official.
