Milkha Singh delighted with Jeev's performance in China

Chandigarh, Apr 16 (UNI) Legendary athlete Flying Sikh, Milkha Singh was thrilled after receiving the news that his son Jeev Mikha Singh had won the 1.8 million dollar Volvo China Open in Bejing today to end a seven-year title drought.

Immediately after the brilliant triumph, Jeev rang up Milkha Singh and mother Nirmal Milkha Singh to convey the good news.

Jeev told his parents that he was delighted to win the title in China.

''With this victory, I am returning to form and I will now do much better. The title has given me more confidence'', Jeev told his parents.
