Major fire in SBI building

Mumbai, Apr 16: A major fire broke out at State Bank of India (SBI) commercial building at Bombay Samachar Marg, in south Mumbai this morning.

The fire broke out at 0915 hrs, fire brigade sources said.

Eight fire engines, ten water tankers, ambulance and special appliances were rushed to the spot, sources added.

The fire was now under control, the sources added.

However, no casualty had been reported so far.

The cause of fire and the intensity of damage were yet to be ascertained, sources said.
