Lightning kills 12

Hyderabad, Apr 16 (UNI) Twelve people, including three children, were killed by lightning in five districts of Andhra Pradesh today.

According to officials sources, three people, including two women were killed in Nalgonda District while an equal number lost their lives near Cheryala Village of Medak District. The mishap occurred when they were returning home from the fields.

Three children were killed near Amraram. village of Rajam mandal in Srikakulam district, and one in Hyderabad city.

Two people died in Mahaboobnagar. The three districts reported unseasonal rainfall accompanied by lightning and thunder.
