JD (S) condemns Mehbooba's statements

Jammu, Apr 16 (UNI) The Janata Dal(S) today condemned the statement made by PDP chief Mehbooba Mufti describing Jammu and Kashmir as a ''disputed territory, militants as martyrs'' and also supporting the demand for self rule in the state.

Ms Mufti also linked her party's symbol of pen and ink with the name of Hizbul Mujahideen Chief Syed Salah-ud-din.

Janata Dal(S) state president Dhanraj Bargotra termed her statements as ''dangerous''.

''The Congress should also explain their coalition this anti-national party,'' he added.
