Easter celebrated in Kerala

Kottayam, Apr 16 (UNI) Christians in the district today celebrated Easter with religious fervour.

Hundreds of believers participated in joint Easter celebrations at the Lourdes Church Auditorium here today.

Geevarghese Mar Coorilos Metropolitan of the Mumbai Diocese of the Malankara Orthodox Syrian Church gave the Easter Message.

Ecumenical Association President P C Abraham presided over the meeting.

Dr Mathew Parackel. Adv J Kurian and other prominent persons addressed the gathering.
