AP Minister promises to sanction irrigation scheme

Kakinada, Andhra Pradesh Apr 16: Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Y S Rajasekhara Reddy today promised to sanction Gorripudi Lift Irrigation scheme in Tallarevu constituency.

Dr Reddy said the Prajapatham programme would be held to meet the requirements of people on the spot like housing, toilets and power connection to houses.

He said in the constituency 6400 houses would be constructed and 1600 new pensions would be given.

Infrastructure facilities for education would be provided, he added.
