4 policemen killed as van hits lorry in AP

Hyderabad, Apr 16 (UNI) Four police constables were killed and six injured when their van collided head-on with a lorry near Rangavaram Village in Mahaboobnagar District early today.

Police said the victims belonging to the AP Special Police (APSP).

The injured were shifted to the government hospital in Kurnool.

In another incident, five persons were killed on the spot and an equal number seriously injured, when their auto collided with a lorry near Nadigi Village in Medak District.

The injured were admitted to the Gandhi Hospital here.
