Talking to reporters here, he reiterated that the BJP had not responded formally to his letter on the issue.
When newsperson pointed out that the BJP had declared that the party would support any Bill moved in Parliament on the issue and the National Executive of the BJP which would meet in May to adopt a resolution on the issue, he said ''let them first do it. Then it will become a public document''.
Asked why the Congress had not responded to the Sub Committee, he said the Congress party's stand had been clearly brought out in the CWC resolution, which was for constitution of the second States Reorganisation Commission(SRC).
Asked about responses of various parties, he said while some parties were for seperate statehood for Telangana, some opposed it.
The Left parties and the Samajwadi party which had 'substantial numbers' in parliament were oppossed to it. There was no broad consenses on the issue, he said.
