Thieves strike during waking hours, decamp with Rs 3.50 lakh booty
Mumbai, Apr 13 (UNI) Burglars broke into the house of a Jogeshwari-residing working couple and made away with cash and valuables worth over Rs 3.50 lakh yesterday.
Vilas Kashinath Sajvekar (50) has lodged a complaint with the police saying that thieves had broken into his Laxminarayan Apartment flat at Jogeshwari after his wife and he had left for their respective offices at 10:30 hours yesterday.
The couple had returned home around 22:30 hours to find that the door lock had been cut open. Thieves had made away with Rs 10,000 in cash and jewellery worth over Rs 3.50 lakh that had been kept in the cupboard.
