Shan-e-Bhopal to have ATM facility

Bhopal, Apr 13: ATM facility will be introduced in New Delhi-Bhopal Shan-e-Bhopal Express.

Addressing a programme to mark 51st Railways Week, Western Central Railways Additional Divisional Railway Manager Alok Gupta said the new service will enable passengers to check bank balance and get mini-statements besides withdrawing cash in moving trains.

The train already has the facility of mobile charger and vending machines for tea-coffee, cold drinks, pizza, burger, cold and hot water.

Mr Gupta said the Bhopal division has created a record by collecting Rs 412 crore in the last fiscal.

A target has been given by the Railways Ministry to raise revenue by 20 per cent this fiscal.

He said the trains from the division recorded 99.4 per cent punctuality and the record will be improved.
