Salman's next hearing in Bhavad case on June 19
Jodhpur, Apr 13 (UNI) A local court today fixed June 19 as the date for next hearing on Salman Khan's appeal in the Bhavad poaching case, where he has been sentenced to one-year jail term and fined Rs 5000.
The verdict on February 17 was given by the Chief Judicial Magistrate (CJM).
Meanwhile, the court heard Salman's appeal against the April 10 verdict for two hours today before it granted him bail.
Magistrate Goverdhan Singh Surana listened to Salman's defence counsel Hastimal Saraswat who was supported by Dipesh Mehta from Mumbai and S R Bajwa from Jaipur.
The CJM had sentenced Salman to five-year imprisonment and fined him Rs 25,000 on April 10 for killing the endangered Chinkaras in Ghodha farm poaching case on September 27-28, 1998 in Mathania area.
