Salman's mother discharged from hospital
Mumbai, Apr 13 (UNI) Cine actor Salman Khan's mother Salma, who suffered a shock after learning that her son had been convicted by a Jodhpur court and had to be admitted to a city hospital three days back, was today discharged.
Salma, who suffered high blood pressure, had been kept under observation at the Leelavati Hospital here since Monday and had been subjected to a few medical tests.
She was discharged from the hospital today at around 1130 hours.
Her husband Salim Khan and other relatives escorted her home from the hospital. The family members declined to speak to the media waiting outside the hospital.
Jodhpur Chief Judicial Magistrate Brijendra Kumar Jain had on April 10 sentenced Salman Khan to five years' imprisonment and imposed a fine of Rs 25,000 on the actor for killing two Chinkaras under the Wildlife Protection Act.
