Ruthless Bayern Munich end St Pauli Cup dream in semis

HAMBURG, Germany, Apr 12 (Reuters) Bayern Munich reached the final of the German Cup with a 3-0 win away to giant-killers St Pauli today.

Owen Hargreaves surprised the keeper with a shot that squeezed in from 30 metres in the 15th minute and Claudio Pizarro scored twice in the last six minutes to seal a highly professional win over the third division side.

Bayern go through to face Eintracht Frankfurt in the final at the Olympiastadion in Berlin on April 29.

The Bavarians are four points clear in the Bundesliga and Wednesday's victory over St Pauli keeps them on track for a 13th Cup win and a second successive domestic double.
