Rohtak win first Haryana DBAs cricket tournament

Kaithal, Apr 13 (UNI) Rohtak District Bar Association cricket team has won the first Haryana State Inter District Bar Association cricket tournament organised by the Haryana Young Lawyers Association (HYLA) here.

Rohtak DBA defeated Panipat DBA by six wickets in the final.

Panipat was all out for 107 runs in their stipulated 20 overs and Rohtak completed the target in 13.5 overs. Dinesh Suhag of Rohtak was declared man of the match and man of the series.

District and Sessions Judge HS Bhangoo, who was the chief guest, gave away prizes to the winners.

ADJ Subhash Goyal, CJM S P Singh and number of advocates were also present on the occasion.

All the DBAs applauded the efforts of HYLA president Hardeep Singh and vice-president Ambrish for organising the tournament and passed a resolution that every year this tournament would be organised by one District Bar Association.

As many as 12 teams from all over Haryana District Bars took part in this four-day event.
