Rio launches 'Project Care'
Kohima, Apr 13 (UNI) Nagaland Chief Minister Neiphiu Rio has launched 'Project Care', an education programme that would enable the educated youth in the state to help every child get his eduaction right and prevent the dreadful HIV/AIDS.
The project, an undertaking of the Naga Student' Federation (NSF) and supported by Sarva Shiksha Aviyan (SSA), was launched here yesterday.
Mr Rio lauded the NSF and all their affiliated students' organisations for having undertaken such a noble venture.
Minister for school education I Imkong said the project was a big challenge for the NSF to effect a social change.
Commissioner and secretary of Nagaland government Temjen Toy stressed on more such projects to stop the alarming menace of HIV/AIDS in the state.
NSF president Pushika Aomi also spoke.
