Patna High Court asks Centre to file affidavit on AIIMS

Patna, Apr 13 (UNI) Patna High Court today asked the Centre to file affidavit on the budgetary allocation made by it for construction of an AIIMS-like hospital in the state capital.

A division bench of the High Court comprising Chief Justice J N Bhatta and Justice S N Hussain directed the Centre to file the affidavit by May 18.

The bench also asked the Centre to give details of the work schedule for complete construction of the hospital in the capital town.

State Advocate General P K Shahi said the government had already provided 100 acre of land to the centre for construction of the hospital.

Assistant Solicitor General Ravi Ranjan said the construction of boundary wall around the hospital had already begun.
