Mukhtar Ansari fails to appear in BJP MLA murder case

Ghazipur, Apr 13 (UNI) Controversial independent MLA Mukhtar Ansari today failed to appear in the Chief Judicial Magistrate court here in connection with BJP MLA Krishnanand Rai murder case.

The court fixed April 18 for the next hearing in the case, as Ansari -- an accused in the case -- failed to appear before the court due to ill health.

The independent MLA along with ruling Samajwadi Party MP brother Afzal Ansari and relative Ezaj Ansari is one of the seven accused in the November 29 murder.
