MP Sadhu Yadav files anticipatory bail petition

Patna, Apr 13 (UNI) RJD MP Anirudh Prasad Yadav alias Sadhu Yadav today filed anticipatory bail petition before the special vigilance court of Patna in connection with the multi-crore flood relief scam.

Earlier, Patna High Court had granted anticipatory bail to Mr Yadav till the submission of chargesheet.

The State vigilance investigation bureau had submitted chargesheet against Mr Yadav on April 9 and after taking cognizance, the designated court had issued warrant of arrest against Mr Yadav yesterday.

The court has fixed April 17 as the date of hearing on the bail petition of Mr Yadav.
