Minor girl raped, strangled

Lakhimpur Kheri, Apr 13 (UNI) A minor girl has allegedly been strangled after being raped in the Fardan area here.

Police said here today that the 13-year-old teenager had gone to attend nature's call last night in the Chapartala village when she was raped and then strangled by one Padam.

The body was recovered from an agricultural plot this monring following which the culprit was arrested, the police added.
