Karnataka Govt responsible for violence Congress

New Delhi, Apr 13 (UNI) The Congress today blamed the Kumaraswamy-led government in Karnataka for violent incidents erupting after the death of vertean film actor Raj Kumar.

The government did not realise emotions of the people mourning the death of their popular actor and failed to take precautionary measures, AICC general secretary B K Hari Prasad said.

Raj Kumar, he said, represented the entire culture of people of Karnataka as they were emotionally attached to him .

Mr Prasad appealed to the people to excercise restraint and not be unduly provoked.
