K M Sugar completes expansion of sugar division

Mumbai, April 13 (UNI) K M Sugar Mills Ltd., has completed expansion of its sugar division form 4500 TCD(tonnes of crusing per day) to 6500 TCD successfully.

Informing the BSE, the company said it is going in full swing in setting up of 25 MW co-generation power project costing Rs 55 crore, after getting the disbursement of the term loan of Rs 33 crore from Punjab National Bank.

It has made application for sanction of Rs 16.5 crore from Sugar Development Fund. The company is targeting to complete the project by end of October 2006. It has already signed the power purchase agreement with Purvanchal Vidyut Vitran Nigam Ltd.
