Governor and Chief Minister pay tributes to Ambedkar

Jammu, Apr 13 (UNI) Jammu and Kashmir Governor S K Sinha and Chief Minister Ghulam Nabi Azad have expressed the hope that the contribution of Dr B R Ambedkar will serve as a beacon of light to inspire generations to uphold the principles of patriotism and social justice.

Paying rich tributes to Babasaheb Ambedkar, the Governor in a message exhorted the people to work for strengthening the bonds of brotherhood between various communities and sections of society, saying that it will be an appropriate tribute to the great leader.

''Dr Ambedkar had a wide vision encompassing the entire Nation and not confined to any segment of the society'', General Sinha added.

The Chief Minister also has paid rich tributes to Dr Ambedkar on his birth anniversary saying that Baba Saheb has rendered unparalleled and stupendous service for upliftment of downtrodden and neglected classes of the society.
