Ghani Khan continues to be critical

Kolkata, Apr 13 (UNI) The condition of former Railway Minister and veteran Congress leader A B A Ghani Khan Chowdhury remained critical for the tenth day today.

He is still on life supportive measures.

''He is still very critical and continues to be on support systems for the functioning of his blood pressure, pulse and kidney,'' sources at the nursing told UNI this afternoon.

The heavyweight Congress leader from Malda was flown in here from his hometown in North Bengal on April three following acute abdominal pain and respiratory problem.

He has been on ventilator since he was admitted to the city nursing home.
