Five Nepali Maoists arrested held in UP
Maharajganj, Apr 13 (UNI) Five Maoists active in neighbouring Nepal and planning the murder of anti-maoist leaders in Indian territory, have been arrested by police in this district of Uttar Pradesh.
Police Superintendent Tarun Gaba said here today that the five motor cycle-borne Maoists, Narsingh, Lal Bahadur, Ramchandra, Billiram Chaudhary and Shamsher Bahadur were, held from Menehari village here last night.
On being interrogated, they revealed their plans of killing five anti-Maoist leaders in the area.
Two carbines, hand grenades and some cartidges have been recovered from them, Mr Gaba added.
