Day temperatures high in Orissa, Jharkhand, WB, UP, Bihar,

Pune, Apr 13 (UNI) Day temperatures were appreciably above normal in some parts of Orissa and Jharkhand and were above normal in Meghalaya, Sub-Himalayan West Bengal, Sikkim, Bihar, Uttar Pradesh, Uttaranchal, Madhya Pradesh, north Gujarat, Chattisgarh, Vidarbha, Andhra Pradesh, Tamil Nadu, south interior Karnataka and Kerala.

They were appreciably below normal in some parts of Assam, south Gujarat and north Madhya Maharashtra and were below normal in Tripura, Punjab and Rajasthan.

They were normal over the rest of the country.

Rain or thundershowers are likely to occur at a few places in Arunachal Pradesh, Assam and Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura and at isolated places in West Bengal and Sikkim, Orissa, Jharkhand, Vidarbha, Chattisgarh, south Madhya Maharashtra, Marathwada, Andhra Pradesh State, Tamil Nadu, interior Karnataka, Kerala and Andman and Nicobar.

Mainly dry weather will prevail over Bihar, Madhya Pradesh, Gujarat, Konkan and Goa, madhya Maharashtra, coastal Karnataka and Lakshadweep.

Very light rain have occured at isolated places in Chattisgarh, Tamil Nadu and Andman and Nicobar.

Rain or thundershowers have occurred at few places in Assam and Meghalaya and at a isolated places in Arunachal Pradesh and Telangana.
