Curfew relaxed for day in Khandwa
Khandwa, MP, Apr 13 (UNI) Day-long relaxation in curfew was given in Khandwa town in western Madhya Pradesh today with the improvement in the situation.
Curfew was clamped on Tuesday after Milad-un-Nabi procession was stonned and 23 people arrested in connection with violent incidents.
Prohibitory orders would, however, remain in force, Collector Nikunj Shrivastava said, adding rituals in connection with Hanuman Jayanti were held in temples.
During curfew relaxation for four hours yesterday, no untoward incident was reported.
