Couple knocked down by speeding lorry

Chennai, Apr 13 (UNI) A couple was knocked down by a speeding lorry on the Guindy-Ashok Nagar Road here last night.

Police said Arumugam (55) and Sarada (50) were returning to their house from their son's place when the incident occurred.

They were crossing the road when the lorry knocked them down and sped the scene.
