Cabinet meeting cancelled
New Delhi, Apr 13 (UNI) A meeting of the Union Cabinet scheduled to be held this evening, was cancelled in view of the hectic schedule of Prime Minister Manmohan Singh since morning.
Official sources said Dr Singh was ''slightly exhausted'' because of his chairing of a crucial meeting of Chief Ministers of naxal-affected states and sitting there throughout the proceedings lasting nearly five hours.
Earlier, he hosted breakfast to six Chief Ministers of naxal-affected states and held elaborate discussion with them on the situation in their states.
''Dr Singh needs some rest. Therefore, today's cabinet meeting is cancelled,'' sources said.
