Athavale seeks mandatory reservations in private universities

Mumbai, Apr 13 (UNI) Republican Party of India ( Athavale) President and Lok Sabha MP Ramdas Athavale, has demanded that reservations for scheduled castes (SC), scheduled tribe (ST) and other backward class (OBC) be made mandatory in private varsities across the country.

In a statement, today, Athavale hailed the Central Government stand on reservations as a welcome relief for the OBC, ST and SC.
