Airtel crosses 2.5 lakh customers in northeast
Guwahati, Apr 13 (UNI) Airtel, India's leading mobile services provider, has achieved the 2.5 lakh customer mark in the northeast.
The milestone was achieved within a year of the operations in the the region with connectivity most key locations in Assam as well as most of the state capitals in the northeast states.
Celebrating the landkmark occasion, Director east regioal hub, mobiity, Bharti Tele-ventures Ltd, Rajan Swaroop said the mark was a testimony to the quality services of the company.
Airtel became the first private gsm player to launch pco services in Assam. The airtel pco was operated on a prepaid platform and is connected through fixed cellular terminals.
