Advani takes a break from Yatra to visit temples
Solapur, Apr 12: Leader of Opposition in the Lok Sabha and senior BJP leader L K Advani today took a break from his Bharat Suraksha Yatra to visit temples in the region.
Mr Advani first went to Sri Siddeshwar temple, built in the middle of a lake constructed by 12th century Sharana Siddarameshwara.
He will also visit temples of Tulaja Bhavani and Panduranga Vithala in Tulajapur and Pandarapur respectively on the banks of Chandrabhaga river.
In the afternoon, he would proceed to Bijapur to enter Karnataka.
He has so far covered 1,385 kms in Gujarat and Maharashtra during his Bharat Suraksha Yatra, addressing 63 public rallies, many road side rallies in Rajkot, Baroda, Surat, Ghatkopar, Pune and Solapur.
Meanwhile Karnataka BJP chief Sadananda Gowda, state BJP General Secretary Dr Vamanachar, Karnataka Food and Civil Supplies Minister Govind M Karjol and a team of party office-bearers and workers have come to Solapur to receive the Yatra to Karnataka.
