UP govt. hands over land for Noida-Delhi flyovers
Lucknow, Apr 12 (UNI) The Uttar Pradesh Government today decided to hand over 36.02 acre of land to Noida authority to be used for construction of approach road for flyovers connecting the national capital with Noida.
The state cabinet meeting chaired by Chief Minister Mulayam Singh Yadav here approved the proposal of handing over the Irrigation Department land at Okhla to Noida authority.
The cost of the land is around Rs 2.32 crore which would be paid to the department by the Noida authority.
State chief secretary N C Bajpayee told mediapersons here that the concerned land would be used for construction of the approach road for the flyovers connecting Noida and Mayur Vihar in New Delhi.
In another decision, the state government decided to hand over land to the Railways in Buxa area of Jaunpur district for laying tracks on the Jaffrabad-Uteria rail section.
