Two Hizb terrorists and two Talibanis gunned down in Doda

Jammu, Apr 12 (UNI) Four terrorists, including two militants of the Pakistan-based militant outfit Hizbul Mujahideen and as many Talibanis, were gunned down in separate encounters with security forces under Marwah police station in Doda district today.

According to sources, on a tip-off, the security forces launched search operations on the terrorists hiding in Sukhnai Waran village.

During the operation, militants fired at the security personnel and in the encounter, two terrorists were killed. Later they were identified as Abdullah and Mastkeen of the Hizbul Mujahideen outfit.

The security forces recovered one AK-47 rifle, three Chinese granades, one AK-56 magzine, three Chinese pistols, 70 rounds of AK ammunition and three hand grenades from the slain militants.

In another, encounter alleged Talibani insurgents were killed by the security forces at Rakinwas, four kms away from Sukhnai under Marwah police station in same district. The slain foreign mercenaries were identified by their code names, Talibani and Jeror which belonged to the Taliban outfit.
