Two arrested after minor alleges rape in car

New Delhi, Apr 12 (UNI) Police today arrested two persons from Sultanpuri area of North-West Delhi after a 15-year-old alleged that she had been raped by one of them in a moving car.

However, a senior police official while confirming the incident said the two accused had been detained and not arrested. ''Only after the medical examination we would take appropriate action,'' he said.

Sudhir (28) and Devender (25), neighbours of the girl - a resident of Rama Vihar in Sultanpuri, were arrested today after the girl, along with her parents, filed a complaint with the police, according to police sources.

The girl in her complaint alleged that two of her neighbours forcibly took her in a car yesterday and Sudhir raped her several times.

While both the accused have been arrested and a case registered, medical examination of the girl was being conducted.
